FLOW
"This is the path to the flow, enter at your own risk- But Enter!"
"It was not until today when I started to sort through all the work we did on Saturday that I realized how much we got done. I enjoyed the workshop and expect to incorporate one or more of the techniques in my next projects." Thank you, Judith

New Printing Textured Photographs
Printing a photo on a textured background lends an unusual dimension to fiber art. This is inspired by the textured brushstrokes of an oil painting.

Stalking the Wild Prints!
Plein air printing? Why not! Take a walk and get your materials for free! Not only can you gather found natural items to print but you can clear you head and get inspired too. On walks, I’ll look at a piece of broken stones, leaves and ferns, branches and wonder ‘can I print with that?’ One of my mantras recently is ‘to just try it’! You really begin to notice what surrounds you!
These techniques are based on a Wen Redmond article in Quilting Arts Magazine (Dec/Jan 2011)

Easy Image Transfer
You’ll love image transfers! Transfer the way you add imagery to your art! These can add focal points or a bit of spark for an art piece. An image transfer is, to put it simply, the act of transferring an image from one source to another. They give a wonderful transparent effect, allowing you to layer images or let the surface show through. Transfers can create a lovely aged and distressed image due to the natural imperfection of the technique.
